Attention Students Applying for Exemption from Preparatory Class (2026-2027)
Important Notice for Students Applying for Exemption from the English Preparatory Programme
Students who enrol in programmes offered by our Faculty in the 2026–2027 academic year and who have either completed an English preparatory programme at a previous institution or demonstrated English proficiency through an examination recognised by the Council of Higher Education (including students admitted through horizontal or vertical transfer) must complete the Preparatory Programme Exemption Application Form provided below.
The completed form must be accompanied by either a transcript/grade report from the preparatory programme previously attended or the result of an English proficiency examination recognised by the Council of Higher Education. The form and supporting document must be combined and emailed in PDF format to ogrenci.muhendislik@alanya.edu.tr.
Applications submitted in accordance with these instructions will be forwarded to the University’s School of Foreign Languages for evaluation. Once the relevant unit has reviewed and finalised the exemption request, applicants will be notified by the Faculty Student Affairs Office.
Until their exemption request has been finalised, applicants will continue to appear as preparatory programme students in the Student Information System. If the application is not concluded by the course registration deadline, the students concerned will be granted the right to complete late course registration with an approved excuse.
To avoid such delays:
- Students admitted to Faculty programmes through horizontal transfer must submit their exemption applications by the close of business on 24 September 2026.
- All other students must apply within one week of their enrolment at the Faculty.
Applications must be prepared as described above and sent to ogrenci.muhendislik@alanya.edu.tr.
